On 6 November 2025, TECHtonics visited Shiv Nadar University in Delhi NCR to meet with scholars and hold a seminar and roundtable discussion on India’s role in standard-setting and global digital governance. Over the course of travels in India, the team also met with more than 20 standardization experts in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Topics explored included India’s successes in 5G standard-setting, software (services), and AI, among others, as well as challenges and opportunities for India in international standard-setting. We appreciate the kind support of and thank all parties who met with us and facilitated this round of exchanges in India.
